This will include an overview of John Bowlby and Colin Murray Parkes' theory of grief and some of the advancements in attachment work in grief, including Phyllis Kosminsky and John Jordan's work on attachment-informed grief therapy and the work of Jakob van Wielink, Leo Wilhelm, and Denise van Geelen-Merks on the transition cycle and secure base counseling in grief.
